Privacy Policy

The short version

RepForge is built around a simple promise: your training data is yours, and it stays on your iPhone.

LifeDasa, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the RepForge mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains exactly what RepForge does and does not collect. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics. There is no backend that knows you exist.

What RepForge does NOT collect

RepForge does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on any server we control:

• Your name, email, or any account identifier (RepForge has no accounts)
• Your location
• Your contacts, calendars, or other personal data
• Analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry
• Advertising identifiers (no IDFA, no third-party ad SDKs)
• Browsing or search history
• Audio recordings, photos, or videos (everything stays on-device)

We do not have a backend server. We do not have a database of users. We do not know who installed the app.

What RepForge stores on YOUR device

Everything below is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData and Apple Health frameworks. None of it leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export a backup file.

• Workout sessions — sets, reps, weights, durations, personal records
• Custom exercises — exercises you create yourself
• Body measurements — waist, chest, hips, arm, thigh (in inches or centimeters)
• Physique check-in photos — only photos you choose to capture; processed entirely on-device by Apple's Vision framework
• Health signals — sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, body weight (read from Apple Health only with your permission, then stored on-device)
• Profile preferences — your goal, training split, equipment, weak points, session duration

On-device AI

If you have premium access on iOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence enabled, RepForge uses Apple's Foundation Models framework to generate short coach notes after a session, photo check-in observations, and weekly guidance.

These models run entirely on your device. Your sets, photos, measurements, and health signals never leave your iPhone for AI processing. RepForge does not use OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other third-party AI service.

If Apple Intelligence is unavailable on your device, AI features fall back to deterministic on-device computation — still no network calls.

System permissions

RepForge requests access to these system features only for the workflows that actually need them:

• Camera — to scan plate weights mid-workout and capture progress check-in photos. Photos stay only on your device.
• Microphone + Speech Recognition — to log sets hands-free when you say something like "two twenty five for eight." Speech is processed on-device by Apple's speech framework. Audio is not retained.
• Photo Library — to import existing progress photos for visual comparison. Imported photos remain on your device.
• Apple Health (read) — to read sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, and body weight signals for daily readiness guidance.
• Apple Health (write, optional) — to write your completed workouts back to Health so they appear in your activity rings. You can decline this without losing any other functionality.

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → RepForge. Revoking a permission disables the corresponding feature; it does not affect the rest of the app.

In-App Purchases

RepForge offers a Premium tier via Apple's StoreKit with monthly, yearly, and lifetime purchase options. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple.We do not see your payment information. We do not store your purchase history on any server. Apple's standard subscription rules and terms apply — you can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Backups and exports

RepForge lets you export a local backup file containing your training data (workouts, custom exercises, measurements, scans, scores). This file is created and stored on your device. You decide what to do with it — AirDrop it to another device, save to Files, share via your preferred app. RepForge does not upload backups anywhere, and we have no way to access them.

Data Security

Because nothing leaves your device, the security model is simple: your data is protected by the security of your iPhone itself. Apple's system-level disk encryption, Face ID / Touch ID, and Secure Enclave protect everything RepForge stores.

We have no servers to be breached. We have no database of user data to lose. If you lose your phone, your training data is protected by your device passcode and Apple's encryption — and recoverable through iCloud Backup if you have it enabled.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as RepForge is installed on your device. To delete everything, simply delete the app from your iPhone — iOS removes all of RepForge's local storage with it. There is no separate "delete account" step because there is no account.

Children's Privacy

RepForge is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone of any age, since RepForge does not collect data at all.

International Users

RepForge is operated by LifeDasa, Inc., a United States company. Because RepForge does not transmit your data anywhere, there is no cross-border data transfer to worry about — your data never crosses any border, because it never leaves your phone.

California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights regarding personal information businesses collect about them. Because RepForge does not collect, sell, or share any personal information, those rights are automatically satisfied — there is nothing for us to disclose, delete, or opt out of. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy whenever you update RepForge.
